The Media and Democracy Project is an all-volunteer grassroots community that promotes civic engagement as part of the media reform movement. We fight for a more informative and pro-democracy media to better meet the critical information needs of all Americans - and our democracy. We fight for truth, context and transparency in the media on Twitter as @FixMediaNow We educate people in media criticism and the critical role journalism and media play in democracy, emphasize and support local and non-profit journalism, and spread pro-democracy messaging on Twitter @MAD_Democracy Visit our website which is a hub of resources for actions including:
