Greg Carr teaches at Howard University, where he is Associate Professor of Africana Studies and Adjunct Professor of Law. He is First Vice President of the Association for the Study of Classical African Civilizations, Co-Founder of Philadelphia Freedom Schools and a Board Member of the National Council
for Black Studies and the National Coalition of Blacks for Reparations in America. He has twice been named “HBCU Male Faculty Member of the Year” by HBCU Digest and led the Africana Studies curriculum framework design team for Philadelphia’s mandatory public high school African American History course. He appears on the Black Star Network's “Roland Martin Unfiltered," and "The Black Table" shows and co-hosts Professor Karen Hunter’s weekly digital show, “In Class With Carr" for the digital learning platforms Knarrative and Knubia.
